In My Kitchen #6

This month is a celebration of spring.  The bitter winds and cold temperatures of a long Canberra winter have been replaced by sunshine, budding trees, flowers and a warm wind that is gently blowing through my home as I sit and write.  My thoughts have turned to light fresh foods that I will consume over the coming months.  I just love living in this city which allows me to enjoy all four seasons, here are a few photos of my garden along with a few bites that we have enjoyed this month.

A big thank you to Celia over at www.figjamandlimecordial.com for hosting the In My Kitchen Series.

Fresh salt & pepper prawns with fennel and orange salad.  Drizzle with a little olive oil, juice from the oranges, salt and pepper for a delicious dressing.
