The year is galloping on, May already we have winter nipping at our heels and I am counting down the days until our woodfire is installed on May 19.  I just love a wood fire!

Autumn baking in the form of Pork and Fennel sausage rolls.  These were a hit and great for work lunches.  The inclusion of fresh fennel certainly made a difference.

Last nights dinner, Stir fry prawns w broccoli, spinach and cauliflower.  Quick and light.

This one is actually nowhere near my kitchen.  Rainforest garden at the Australian Botanical Gardens in Canberra.  A hidden gem right in the middle of town, we hiked up to the top of Black Mountain today and then found this misty garden on the way home.
